Transformation of metals such as white gold (while magical in content and use, not pure in form) into elements such as platinum and iridium. Although the metal does transmute, the transformation is usually incomplete and undesireable effects are soon detected.
While iridium formed by transmutation is apparently successful, its use in fission weapons is limited as the minor demons enslaved within the weapons usually refuse to work with this inferior material.
